Recipe - Stollen Bread
Here is the much requested recipe from Kale for her "Stollen Bread" that she brought to our Super Saturday. Thanks Kale!!
Mix:
3 cups water
3 Tbsp. yeast
1/2 cup sugar
Let set until foamy
Add:
3 lg eggs
3 tsp. salt
4 Tbsp. oil
9 cups flour
Mix well-divide into 9 pieces. Let set for ten minutes. Roll out each piece the size of a pizza pan. Place one on a pizza pan. Put on nut mixture and margarine and end with dough on top. Mark the center with a glass. Cut into glass in 1/4’s. Then take each 1/4 and cut into 4 pieces. Twist each piece three turns. Continue with other 1/4 pieces. Remove glass. Continue with other dough, enough to fill three pie pans. Let rise 45 to 60 minutes. Bake each at 350 for 20 minutes. Put on icing of powdered sugar and water.
Nut mixture:

1 cup chopped nuts
2 tsp. cinnamon
